- Address the pastoral, liturgical, and musical needs of the Hispanic Catholic population in the United States.
- Sustain and increase membership in the NPM community of ministry.
- Increase NPM focus on youth and young adults who can and do contribute to liturgical and music ministry in the U.S.
- Contribute to the preparation of communities and pastoral leaders for implementation of the new English-language edition of the Roman Missal.
- Find new financial resources and strengthen existing ones to support the mission and work of NPM in a challenging economy.
