Comprised of harpist Jacqueline Pollauf and saxophonist Dr. Noah Getz, the ensemble explores the diverse musical possibilities of their instrumental combination through compelling programming and a dedication to excellence in performance. The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Mr. Daniel J. Sansone, will sing Solemn Choral Vespers. The vespers will include the Magnificat (St. Paul Service) by Herbert Howells, as well as other sacred choral motets. Ms. Katherine Hunt, Associate Director of Music at the Cathedral, will present a program on the two stunning Cathedral organs built by Moller and Schantz. A Festival of Lessons and Carols for Advent
The St. Stephen’s Choir of Men and Boys, under the direction of Adric, will present a traditional service of Lessons and Carols for Advent. Through scripture readings, carols and hymns, the service reflects the mystery and anticipation of the Advent season. This program is free and open to the public however, a free-will offering will be received.

Holiday Brass
The International Women's Brass Conference, Maryland Chapter, presents its 7th Annual Holiday Brass Concert on November 30, 2010. The program will feature music of the season for brass, organ and choir, as well as familiar carols and sing-alongs. Performers include brass players from the Baltimore and National Symphonies, and the nation's premier military bands. The choirs of Towson Methodist church and the Emmanuel Lutheran church will

The women of the Cathedral Choir will present Benjamin Britten ’s popular Christmas work A Ceremony of Carols. Set in the Cathedral’s intimate St. Joseph chapel, the work will be accompanied by harpist Jacqueline Pollauf. Lenten Procession
The choir of St. John’s Huntingdon, under the direction of Mr. Thomas Hetrick, will perform works celebrating the season of Lent. Mirroring the Lenten journey, the procession will begin in the narthex of the magnificent Cathedral, continue to the sanctuary, and finally proceed to the steps of the high altar. This program is free and open to the public; however, a free-will offering will be received.

Cathedral Choir Concert
The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Mr. Daniel J. Sansone, will perform a program of varied choral repertoire celebrating the season of Lent. The program will feature the Quatre Motets pour les Temps de Penitence by Francis Poulenc. This program is free and open to the public; however, a free-will offering will be received.

In observance of the beginning of Holy Week, the Cathedral’s Director of Music, Mr. Daniel J. Sansone, will perform an organ recital featuring Le Chemin de la Croix (The Stations of the Cross) by Marcel Dupré. The work’s movements offer musical reflections on the various Stations, depicting Christ’s Passion. Narrative readings will precede each of the fourteen movements. The regal acoustics of the Cathedral offer the perfect setting for this great work. This program is free and open to the public however, a free-will offering will be received.

Contemporary Choir Concert
The Cathedral Contemporary Choir, directed by Ms. Katherine Hunt, will perform a program of selections from the late Romantic period through today. The ensemble is accompanied by piano and guitar and will also feature the Cathedral Youth Schola. This program is free and open to the public however, a free-will offering will be received.
