Music Education Chapter Liaison

The Music Education Division of NPM is dedicated to fostering the art and educational power of music in a Catholic setting. NPM-MusEd is affiliated with the MENC: National Association for Music Education and shares the mission of NPM and MENC. We strive to encourage and support quality music teaching and learning for all in Catholic educational settings and quality worship services of the Catholic Church within the United States.

The Music Education Chapter Liaison acts as the liaison between the Music Education Division and the local NPM Chapter to inform its members of current music education resources, events and conferences.

Responsibilities include:

1. Communicating with MusEd Regional Coordinator to relay any news about the local chapter's activities involving music education
2. Relaying information to chapter from Regional Coordinator or MusEd President about upcoming NPM national/regional Music Education Conference/ Institute
3. Extending information about national/state conferences sponsored by MENC, Chorister's Guild, Kodaly, Orff, etc. (provided by Regional Coordinator)
   

Requirements of the MusEd Chapter Liaison

1. A member of the MusEd Division and of NPM
2. Agree to serve for one year (renewable by the local chapter and MusEd)
