The NPM Standing Committee for African American Musicians provides a voice for African American musicians within the Association. Committee members make proposals and suggestions for workshops and events at NPM conventions and for other educational programs.

The Chair of the Standing Committee is a voting member of the NPM Council, and represents the interests of African American musicians as council members reflect together on the future of the Association. Please contact us if you have suggestions or ideas that you would like to share.
