In addition to the suggested readings offered at 690A, texts may be taken from the Common of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Two options are offered at #690A for the first reading and two for the Gospel. The feast commemorates the second apparition of Mary at the hill of Tepeyac to St. Juan Diego Cuatitlatoatzin in 1531. After this apparition, the Aztec visionary showed his tilma to the Spanish Bishop Zumáraga, and impressed on that cloak was the image of Mary with Aztec features. The first church erected on the spot was, in fact, Juan Diego’s hermitage.

Psalm of the Day: Judith 13
This brief canticle, drawn from a book that is largely a fictional work, sings the praise of a woman who defeated God’s enemies. Curiously, neither this canticle nor the Canticle of Hannah (suggested below) is widely available in a musical setting. Since these two canticles are the most appropriate for this day, you might chant one of them using a simple psalm tone.
You Are the Highest Honor (Kolar)  PMB 760
or, from the Common: 1 Samuel 2 (Lectionary #709-1)
The canticle of Hannah, mother of the prophet Samuel, is the model on which the Magnificat is based. (Keep in mind that the Magnificat was the responsorial psalm for the previous Sunday.)
