Planning Calendar for Liturgical Year
2007-2008 Note: All lectionary number references for Sundays and major feasts are to Volume One of the revised Lectionary for Mass: Sundays, Solemnities, Feasts of the Lord and the Saints. References to celebrations not contained in the first volume are in Volume Two, Three, or Four of the Lectionary for Mass. Suggestions of readings for civic observances not part of the Roman calendar are contained in parentheses. Music Planning Note: Because of a change in resources, there are some discrepancies in the references to Gather Comprehensive. For the first half of the 2007–2008 liturgical year, the references given to Gather Comprehensive refer to the second edition of that resource (2004). Thereafter, the suggestions distinguish between the first edition (1994), identified as GC, and the second edition, identified as GC2.
